Brand Strategy Lead x TinyWins
Remote / Full-time
About TinyWins
We started small. One client at a time. Feeling by feeling. These early triumphs weren’t just victories; they were the stepping stones — the ‘Tiny Wins’ that propelled us forward, sparking momentum that still drives us today. We’re not just an agency. Or a studio. Or a consultancy. Or a digital shop. We are all of those things. And in a mission to build irrational love between brands and their consumers, we start every project with one question: How do we want to make people feel?
As a remote-first team, we tackle everything from brand strategy to verbal and visual identities, web design and development to marketing, and beyond — and we're anticipating more tiny wins to create major growth in the future. If our mission gives you the feels, you can learn more here.
The Role
TinyWins is seeking a Brand Strategy Lead to help create foundational strategies for new and evolving brands. This includes startups that need help articulating their story and entering the market, to household names seeking a refresh and repositioning. We want to expand our team with people who are passionate and skilled in brand building, writing, and storytelling.
It’s not about how many years of experience you have or what awards you’ve won; we’re looking for sharp, thoughtful, powerful communicators. Someone who can multitask, thrive under pressure, and write anything well. Someone who can talk business to founders and CEOs. Someone who can move from AI to financial services to health & wellness and back again. Someone deeply strategic but also creative. Someone with their finger on the pulse of culture. Someone who wants to be on a small team doing big, important work for brands that are launching, relaunching, growing, and evolving.
This role demands exceptional listening skills and the ability to provide what we call “brand therapy.” You hold strong opinions and convictions while actively seeking outside perspectives. You are adaptable and skilled at managing multiple priorities, responding effectively to the diverse needs of our role and varied client base. Things move quickly here, allowing you to see your work come to life sooner than you might expect. This is a team where you might just do the best work of your life.
Responsibilities
- Think: Synthesize complex information and uncover hidden meanings to develop foundational brand strategies (purpose, pillars, positioning, archetype, architecture, etc.) and bring novel thinking to every challenge.
- Write: Craft compelling strategic narratives, manifestos, etc. If you don’t enjoy writing, this may not be the role for you.
- Name: Contribute to naming workshops and ideation sessions for brands, companies, products, services, apps, and tokens. You name it, you’ll name it.
- Workshop: Participate in engaging workshops with multiple client stakeholders and hold internal brainstorms with cross-functional teams.
- Speak: Be comfortable selling and presenting work with charm and enthusiasm to all clients at all levels.
- Collaborate: Own your workstreams and become the go-to expert for the brands you execute on, working with verbal strategists, writers, designers, and digital UI/UX teams to bring strategies to life.
- Improve: Bring your background, expertise, and outside thinking to shape processes and outputs to make everything we do better.
Qualifications
- Experience in crafting foundational brand strategies.
- Passion for all things brand and how it comes to life across strategy, verbal and visual identities, creative, web design, and marketing.
- An interest or experience in human behavior, archetypes, and psychology, with the ability to decipher clients’ needs and desires.
- Obsessive attention to detail and high standards for the work you put your name on.
- Curiosity and ability to learn quickly about various businesses and industries—able to dive into big agriculture one day and Web3 the next.
- Strong communication skills; Ability to capture attention, convey ideas clearly, and foster connection, whether speaking or writing.
- Humility and confidence: Receptive to feedback, yet able to move forward decisively. You hold strong opinions and convictions while actively seeking outside perspectives.
- Collaborative work style, able to foster relationships across the agency.
- Optimism and agility, a can-do attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and dive into multiple clients simultaneously.
